Here is how to save emails to Egnyte with our chrome extension:

  1. Install the cloudHQ Chrome browser extension  Save emails to Egnyte from this location: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/save-emails-to-egnyte/nhbndnfkegbblfiganfghfafpahigompchrome extension
  2. Add the extension to Chrome so you will have the “Save to Egnyte” button in your Gmail or Google Apps mail:chrome extension
  3. Open email and click “Save to Egnyte” button in your Gmail™ or Google Apps mail:chrome extension
  4. If you get this notification, it means you will need to authorize Egnyte:

    • Click “Add Egnyte Account”:
      authorize
    • This will display so you can authorize Egnyte:
      authorize
    • Sign in to your Egnyte account:
      authorize
    • Authorize cloudHQ in Egnyte:
      authorize
    • This will display that authorization is successful and you will be redirected back to Gmail or Google Apps email:
      authorize

    Then go back to email and click the “Save to Egnyte” button:

  5. Select an Egnyte folder to save your Gmail or Google Apps email:chrome extension

    You can also select an Egnyte subfolder to save your Gmail or Google Apps email:

  7. Click “Save” once you have chosen the a folder or subfolder Egnyte:

  8. You will get a message that your Gmail or Google Apps email is being saved to Egnyte:chrome extension
  9. Your email is now saved in Egnyte. Click “here” if you want to check in Egnyte:

  10. If you click “here” you will be redirected to Egnyte. In Egnyte, you’ll be able to view your saved email:

  11. Your Gmail™ or Google Apps email is now saved in Egnyte:

  13. Once the email has been saved to your Egnyte, you can also click “Set Up Automatical Save” button. Clicking this will create sync pair that will automatically save emails from sender to your Egnyte:

  14. A message will appear that sync pair is being created:

  15. A sync pair will be created to save emails from sender to your Egnyte in previously selected location folder:

  16. If you want to customize the sender, recipient or email subject, you can click “here” instead of “Set Up Automatical Save” button to customize email filters:

  17. You can specify rules on how your sync pair will be created:

  18. You can proceed on succeeding steps in the creation of sync pair until created:

  19. If you still want to modify Gmail rules after sync pair has been created, just click on “Modify Options” to change options:
